Tamu Ground Keningau

Tamu Ground Keningau is a weekly tamu held every Sunday. As early as 6 am, traders start to setting up their stalls on Tamu Ground Keningau; the area will be jammed up by traffic as most of the locals spend their Sunday morning to buy fresh vegetables and other goods. Travelers also can buy their hand-made souvenirs, dried seafood, and believe your eyes - as this tamu also filled with bundle stalls! Keningau’s weekly tamu is a great place to experience the local scene as there are people come from all over Keningau district and its neighboring districts to sell and buy a vast variety of things.

Keningau Night Market

Situated at the centre of Keningau, Keningau night market offers variety choices of foods, fresh vegetables and dried seafood. The market is one of the attractions available in Keningau; it is probably the most visited place in town. Enjoy taking a stroll down the market and try their local cuisine; it’s the easiest way to blend in with the locals!

The main shopping area in Keningau is the Keningau Mall. Launched in 2010, it is located in Keningau Town and become the first shopping mall in the Interior Division of Sabah.
